Pride Community Care Ltd was established in 2002 by Amanda Waterworth RGN, RMN, BA (Hons), Diploma in Diploma in therapeutic counselling, RMA Manager/Director.
Pride Community Care Ltd are contracted to Lancashire County Council Living Well at Home contract for Burnley and Pendle.
Mission
Safe
All staff work from an electronic portal. All staff mandatory training, such First Aid, Care Certificate and Medication Training, and are encouraged to complete Level 1,2,3 and higher. Pride community Care Ltd support all staff with online e-learning and classroom-based learning by an accredited trainer.
Staff receive regular appraisals, supervision and staff meetings. Pride Community Care Ltd has strong recruitment procedures in place and carries out all relevant checks. All staff are chosen with the utmost care. Pride Community Care Ltd regularly update SkillsForCare. Staff are equipped with PPE. All staff are kept updated with current information and legislation and training around Infection Prevention and Control and minimising infection and risks.
Pride Community Care Ltd is registered to ICO and have relevant and up to date insurance, in line with contracts.
Effective
Pride Community Care Ltd work from an electronic portal, meeting GDPR (2018). Care plans and risks assessments are managed through this and assessed daily. Individuals consent for support and capacity is assessed daily. Consent is in line with legislation and guidance. Pride Community Care Ltd promote healthy relationships with family, friends and Community Mental Health Team and other Professionals. Compliments and complaints procedures are available to all.
Responsive
Staff had received equality and diversity training. Equality is about championing the human rights of individuals or groups of individuals, by embracing their specific protected characteristics and diversity related to accepting, respecting and valuing people’s individual differences. All individuals are supported in response to people’s individual needs, routines and aspirations.

Pride Community Care Ltd promote a clear vision and approach, to deliver high-quality care and support which achieved positive outcomes for people. Management are approachable and have an open door policy. We work as a team to support and those who use the service are promoted to get involved. We are an equal opportunity employer.
